I’m glad I decided to watch all 11 of the Star Wars movies in chronological order. It really did make a difference in how I perceive the entire Skywalker Saga. It also gave me an interesting perspective on the relative quality of the individual movies in comparison with one another.
Yesterday we watched The Last Jedi, the next movie in the Star Wars chronological timeline after The Force Awakens. Of all of my Star Wars movie posts, this is the post I’ve most dreaded to write.
This is not a review and it isn’t meant to rain on anybody’s opinion of this movie – it’s simply an attempt to articulate my own feelings about it. Your mileage may mostdefinitely vary.
I remember seeing The Last Jedi at the theater and coming away conflicted. I’ve watched it a few times since then and I’m still conflicted.
Warning! Spoilers Below (if there can be such a thing as spoilers for a movie released in 2017).
